According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

In Magistrate Kathy Beverage's court:

Dalton Caleb Curry, 19, of Durbin, was arrested April 2 on charges of driving under the influence, reckless driving and possession of a controlled substance, less than 15 grams. Bond was set at a total of $1,750. He was released from jail April 3.

Israel Shane Pritt, 39, of Marlinton, was arrested April 3 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $2,500. He was released from jail April 4.

Bruce Taylor, 31, of Swannanoa, North Carolina, pleaded guilty April 7 to a charge of driving under the influence. He was assessed a $250 fine and $209.50 in court costs.

Angela Garretson, 19, of Marlinton, was arrested April 7 on charges of domestic battery and battery. Bond was set at $2,000.

In Magistrate Janet Kershner-Vanover's court:

Jurida Lynn Guffey, 45, of Marlinton, was arrested April 3 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $2,500. She is currently housed at Tygart Valley Regional Jail.

David Wayne Harrah, 53, of Crab Orchard, was arrested April 3 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $2,500. He was released from jail April 5.

Derek McLaughlin, 31, of Hillsboro, pleaded no contest April 8 to a charge of defrauding an innkeeper. He was assessed $184.50 in court costs.

David Wayne Doyle, 37, of Bartow, was arrested April 10 on a charge of burglary. Bond was set at $10,000. He is currently housed at Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
