According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Johnathan Kirk Bennett, 37, of Marlinton, was arrested April 15 on charges of receiving/transferring stolen property and two counts of grand larceny. Bond was set at a total of $60,000. He is currently housed at Tygart Valley Regional Jail.

In Magistrate Janet Kershner-Vanover's court:

Rodney Allen Prowse, 41, of Arbovale, was arrested April 12 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $1,000. He was released from jail April 17.

Robert Leslie Richardson, 57, of Green Bank, pleaded no contest April 13 to a charge of driving under the influence. He was assessed a $200 fine, $159.50 in court costs and $95 in miscellaneous fees. He was sentenced to two days home incarceration in lieu of jail time due to a medical condition.
