Magistrate Court
According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.
Donald R. Campbell, 48, of Hillsboro, was arrested May 15 on a charge of illegal disposal of trash. Bond was set at $250.
Lacy A. Biggs, 30, of Marlinton, was arrested May 16 on a charge of illegal disposal of trash. Bond was set at $250.
Richard Combs, 66, of Marlinton, was arrested May 16 on a charge of violation of protective order. Bond was set at $3,500. He was released from jail May 17.
Michael N. Pauley, 31, of Marlinton, was arrested May 14 on two counts of delivery of a schedule I controlled substance. Bond was set at $30,000. He is currently housed at Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
In Magistrate Kathy Beverage's court:
At a May 3 revocation hearing, Gregory Wayne Warf, 47, of Hillsboro, was taken off community corrections and ordered to complete his sentence in jail. Warf pleaded guilty February 8 to a charge of driving under the influence, second offense. He was sentenced to six months jail time.
In Magistrate Janet Kershner-Vanover's court:
Rodney Allen Prowse, 41, of Arbovale, pleaded no contest May 6 to a charge of domestic battery. He was assessed a $200 fine, $159.50 in court costs, a $25 arrest fee and sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served and three months unsupervised probation.
Crystal Dawn Baker, 27, of Marlinton, pleaded guilty May 6 to a charge of driving under the influence, first offense. She was assessed a $250 fine, $159.50 in court costs, $105 in miscellaneous fees and sentenced to 24 hours in jail.
