According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Mike White, 53, of Frank, was arrested May 31 on charges of joyriding, two counts reckless driving, fleeing an officer, two counts of driving suspended/revoked for DUI, failure to yield on half paved highway, no proof of insurance and an accident involving damage to a vehicle. Bond was set at a total of $9,100. He is currently housed at Tygart Valley Regional Jail.

David Alaxander Lutz, 24, of Snowshoe, was arrested May 28 on charges of registration violation, no motor vehicle inspection, driving suspended/revoked for non-DUI, no proof of insurance, obstructing an officer and carrying/concealing a deadly weapon, second offense. Bond was set at a total of $27,600.

Michael L. Cohenour, 53, of Marlinton, was arrested June 5 on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $1,000. He was released from jail June 7.

Brian B. Withers, 35, of Marlinton, appeared in court June 7 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 15 grams. He was sentenced to six months unsupervised probation and assessed $165.50 in court costs.

In Magistrate Janet Kershner-Vanover's court:

Danelle Nicole Tawney, 25, Marlinton, pleaded guilty June 2 to a charge of driving under the influence. She was assessed a $200 fine, $159.50 in court costs, $100 in additional fees and sentenced to 24 hours in jail.

Donald R. Campbell, 49, of Hillsboro, pleaded no contest June 1 to two counts of illegal disposal of trash. He was assessed a $100 fine, $319 in court costs and a $25 arrest fee.
