According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Kenneth M. Baker, 51, of Snowshoe, was arrested August 20 on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $1,000. He was released from jail August 21. A charge of no proof of motor vehicle inspection was dismissed August 23.

Azia J. McGinnis, 18, of Arbovale, was arrested August 22 on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $1,000. She was released from jail the same day.

Rodney Keith Swearingen, II, 28, of Hillsboro, was arrested August 27 on charges of driving suspended/revoked for DUI, possession of a controlled substance (less than 15 grams), and driving under the influence, third offense. Bond was set at $7,000.

Dallas Orion Vandevender, 20, of Green Bank, was arrested August 27 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $1,000. He was released from jail August 29.

Samuel David Elliott, 57, of Green Bank, was arrested August 13 on a charge of attempted murder. The case was transferred to circuit court on August 23.

Angelo T. Monterosso, 20, of Salem, Virginia, was arrested August 21 on charges of conspiracy and counterfeiting. Bond was set at $35,000. He was released the same day.

Christopher R. Chitwood, 24, of Salem, Virginia, was arrested August 21 on a charge of counterfeiting. Bond was set at $25,000. He was released from jail August 24.

Gregory Warf, 47, of Hillsboro, was arrested August 26 on a charge of malicious assault. Bond was set at $25,000. He is currently lodged at Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
