According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Celso B. Marquez, 29, of Bartow, was arrested September 18 on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $1,000. He is currently lodged at Tygart Valley Regional jail.

Phillip Wayne Shinaberry, 20, of Cass, was arrested September 23 on charges of transferring/receiving stolen goods, breaking and entering and conspiring. Bond was set at $11,000.

Shinaberry pleaded guilty September 21 to charges of underage consumption and fleeing on foot. He was assessed a $50 fine, $321.60 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days suspended jail and placed on six months of Day Report.

Travis Allen Rider, 23, of Marlinton, was arrested September 23 on charges of breaking and entering and conspiring. Bond was set at $10,000.

Jeremy Duane Moore, 24, of Marlinton, appeared in court September 23 on charges of transferring/receiving stolen goods and conspiring. Bond was set at $6,000.

Kristie Dawn Galford, 20, of Marlinton, was arrested September 23 on charges of transferring/receiving stolen goods and conspiring. Bond was set at $6,000.

Brittney Lynne Rider, 20, of Hillsboro, was arrested September 23 on charges of transferring/receiving stolen goods and conspiring. Bond was set at $6,000.

Herbert G. McClure, 59, of Marlinton, was arrested September 25 on a charge of driving suspended/revoked for DUI. Bond was set at $1,000.

Aaron Edward Arbogast, 19, of Clarks Mills, Pennsylvania, was arrested September 25 on a charge of DUI under 21. Bond was set at $1,000.

Renea Dawn Gerber, 19, of Mercer, Pennsylvania, was arrested September 25 on a charge of underage consumption. Bond was set at $500.

Michelle Lynn Wimer, 19, of New Castle, Pennsylvania, was arrested September 25 on a charge of underage consumption. Bond was set at $500.

Russell Wade Arbogast, 30, of Cass, was arrested September 25 on charges of permitting DUI and providing alcohol to minors. Bond was set at $1,500.

Matthew Brian Alderman, 31, of Marlinton, was arrested September 26 on charges of driving suspended/revoked for non-DUI and driving under the influence. Bond was set at $1,500.

In Magistrate Janet Kershner-Vanover's court:

Tina Combs, 41, of Buckeye, pleaded guilty September 23 to a charge of false information to the police. She was assessed a $50 fine and $160.80 in court costs.

Carl Lee Kidd, Jr., 28, of Circleville, pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of a Schedule II controlled substance. He was assessed a $100 fine, $160.80 in court costs, $25 arrest fee and sentenced to 90 days jail to serve 10 with credit for time served.

Malcolm C. Watkins, 47, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty September 22 to a charge of domestic assault. He was assessed $160.80 in court costs and sentenced to seven days jail with credit for time served.

Michael William Calhoun, 41, of Pittsboro, North Carolina, pleaded no contest to a charge of speeding. The charge was reduced to 54 in a 40 MPH zone on motion of Assistant Prosecutor J.L. Clifton. He was assessed a $14 fine and $165.80 in court costs.

A charge of failure to register as a sex offender against John D. Brewer, 46, of Bartow, was transferred to circuit court.
