According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

David Wayne Sharp, 48, of Marlinton, appeared in court November 9 on charges of public intoxication and providing alcohol to a minor. Bond was set at $150.

Jamie Nunley, 33, of Marlinton, was arrested November 12 on a charge of petit larceny. Bond was set at $1,000.

Donald Ray Hoke, 51, of Marlinton, was arrested November 9 on charges of obstructing an officer and receiving or transferring stolen goods. Bond was set at $6,500.

Clellene Banks, 34, of Marlinton, was arrested November 9 on charges of possession of a controlled substance less than 15 grams, possession of a Schedule II controlled substance namely Ritalin and possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance namely Darvocet. Bond was set at $3,000.

Erica Marie Engquist, 30, of Snowshoe, appeared in court November 12 on a charge of driving suspended/revoked for DUI. Bond was set at $500.

Richard Owen Ellison, 35, of Snowshoe, was arrested November 13 on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $1,500.

In Magistrate Kathy Beverage's court:

A charge of speeding against Steven P. Davis, 45, of Daniels, was dismissed November 10 on motion of Assistant Prosecutor J.L. Clifton. Davis must complete an eight hour defensive driving course.

A charge of domestic battery against Louis P. Cervone, 55, of St. Albans, was dismissed November 10 on motion of the defense due to the charging officer's failure to appear.

Celso B. Marquez, 30, of Bartow, pleaded guilty November 10 to a charge of driving under the influence. He was assessed a $250 fine, $210.80 in court costs, $85 in additional fees and sentenced to 12 days jail with credit for time served.

Randall E. Bibb, 58, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest November 1 to charges of battery and stalking. He was assessed a $500 fine, $321.60 in court costs, $127.45 in additional fees and sentenced to 156 days jail with credit for time served.

In Magistrate Janet Kershner-Vanover's court:

Sherri L. Howe, 47, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest November 9 to a charge of failure to yield 1/2 paved portion. She was assessed a $10 fine and $165.80 in court costs.

Larry Rodney Childers, 38, of Huntington, pleaded no contest November 4 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed a $20 fine and $165.80 in court costs.

Ferrell Gene Kelley, 47, of Cass, pleaded guilty November 4 to a charge of prohibited person with a firearm. He was assessed a $100 fine and $160.80 in court costs.
