According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Galen Biggs, 31, of Marlinton, was arrested November 15 on a charge of battery. Bond was set at $1,000. He was released from jail the same day.

Robert William Carnell, 41, of Rainelle, was arrested November 20 on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $500. He was released from jail the same day.

In Magistrate Janet Kershner-Vanover's court:

A charge of driving under the influence against Matthew S. McCarthy, 26, of Charleston, was dismissed November 16 on motion of the defendant.

A charge of child abuse against Jean M. McCarty, 33, of Marlinton, was transferred to circuit court November 16.
