Magistrate Court

According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Linda Sharp aka Linda Thompson, 49, of Hillsboro, was arrested February 2 on a charge of stalking. Bond was set at $1,000.

Phillip W. Shinaberry, 20, of Cass, was arrested February 1 on a charge of petit larceny. Bond was set at $500. He is currently lodged at Tygart Valley Regional Jail.

Jamie Green, 25, of Marlinton, appeared in court February 2 on a charge of involuntary manslaughter. Bond was set at $5,000. He was released from jail February 4.

Dustin Turner, 33, of Marlinton, was arrested February 2 on charges of assault and felony burglary. Bond was set at $15,500. He is currently lodged at TVRJ.

Shirley Ann Turner, 24, of Marlinton, was arrested February 2 on charges of battery and felony burglary. Bond was set at $15,500. She is currently lodged at TVRJ.

Melissa Shinaberry, 46, of Marlinton, was arrested February 2 on charges of obstructing an officer and possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $2,500. She was released from jail February 3.

Natasha N. Tincher, 21, of Marlinton, was arrested February 2 on charges of obstructing an officer and possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $2,500. She was released from jail February 3.

Rodney D. Mallow, 22, of Bartow, was arrested February 6 on a charge of permitting DUI. Bond was set at $1,000. He was released from jail the same day. He pleaded no contest January 25 to a game license violation citation. He was assessed a $20 fine and $160.80 in court costs.

Carl Lee Kidd, 29, of Circleville, appeared in court February 6 on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $1,000. He was released from jail the same day.

Thomas Alexander Gibson, 20, of Luray, Virginia, was arrested February 6 on charges of driving under the influence and no proof of insurance. Bond was set at $1,500. He was released from jail the same day.

Terry Sheets, 38, of Marlinton, was arrested February 4 on a charge of involuntary manslaughter. Bond was set at $5,000.

In Magistrate Kathy Beverageメs court:

Felony charges of burglary and sexual assault, second offense against Steven Curtis Bryant, 38, of Snowshoe, were transferred to circuit court February 4.

A felony charge of domestic battery, third offense against Travis Danny Brown, 28, of Arbovale, was transferred to circuit court February 3 because probable cause was found.

Iva Fitzgerald, 63, of Hillsboro, pleaded guilty February 2 to a charge of possession of marijuana. She was assessed a $100 fine, $160.80 in court costs and sentenced to 90 days suspended jail and placed on six months unsupervised probation.

Felony charges of fraudulent schemes and conspiracy against Robert J. Long, 33, of Marlinton, were dismissed January 26 on motion of Prosecutor Donna Price. Long will pay restitution to the injured parties.

Felony charges of fraudulent schemes and conspiracy against Stephanie Long, 27, of Marlinton, were dismissed on motion of Prosecutor Price. Long will pay restitution to the injured parties.

Joshua Paul Barkley, 27, of Hillsboro, pleaded no contest January 24 to a charge of seat belt violation. He was assessed a $5 fine.

Daniel Joseph Bromley, 21, of Ashburn, Virginia, pleaded no contest January 25 to a charge of failure to maintain control. He was assessed a $10 fine and $165.80 in court costs.

Justin Adam Cutlip, 30, of Webster Springs, pleaded no contest January 27 to a charge of leaving the scene. He was assessed a $100 fine and $165.80 in court costs.

Jason Ray Goldizen, 27, of Buckeye, pleaded no contest February 1 to a charge of failure to stop/yield. He was assessed a $10 fine and $165.80 in court costs.

William Max Handley, Jr., 71, of Peachtree City, Georgia, pleaded no contest February 3 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed a $100 fine and $165.80 in court costs.

Ethel Elizabeth Hartshorn, 36, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest January 25 to a charge of registration violation. She was assessed a $10 fine and $150.80 in court costs.

Adam Clark Harwell, 24, of Buckeye, pleaded no contest January 28 to charges of speeding and seat belt violation. He was assessed a $21 fine and $165.80 in court costs.

Robert C. Lippard, 59, of Raleigh, North Carolina, pleaded no contest January 27 to a charge of speeding. He was assessed a $5 fine and $165.80 in court costs.

Richard Welton Raiford, Jr., 39, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, pleaded no contest January 25 to a charge of failure to maintain control. He was assessed a $10 fine and $165.80 court costs.

Claude E. Sharp, Jr., 56, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest January 4 to a charge of false information. He was assessed a $20 fine and $160.80 in court costs.

Rachel L. Smith, 19, of River, Kentucky, pleaded no contest February 3 to a charge of joyriding. She was assessed a $250 fine and $160.80 in court costs.

Tara Lynn Cutlip Turner, 36, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest January 28 to a charge of driving suspended/revoked, non-DUI. She was assessed a $100 fine and $160.80 in court costs.

Colby Hughes York, 21, of Raleigh, North Carolina, pleaded no contest January 20 to a charge of failure to maintain control. He was assessed a $25 fine and $165.80 in court costs.
