According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Angela Dawn Beverage, 32, of Marlinton, was arrested February 13 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $1,000.

Philip Andrew Hamilton, 24, of Marlinton, appeared in court February 15 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 15 grams. He was placed on unsupervised probation and assessed $166.80 in court costs.

Robert Daniel Medieta, 30, of Snowshoe, was arrested February 15 on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $1,000.

Archie Ray Arbogast, 34, of Arbovale, was arrested January 25 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 15 grams. Bond was set at $1,000.

Rodney Keith Swearingen, II, 30, of Hillsboro, was arrested February 16 on charges of driving suspended/revoked for DUI and attempting to flee. Bond was set at $3,500.

Jo Ann Roake, 22, of Marlinton, appeared in court February 17 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance. She was placed on unsupervised probation and assessed $166.80 in court costs.

Ethel Elizabeth Hartshorn, 36, of Marlinton, was arrested February 17 on charges of driving under the influence and registration violation. Bond was set at $1,100.

Stephen B. Rudiger, age unavailable, of Norfolk, Virginia,appeared in court February 18 on a charge of possession of a controlled substance, less than 15 grams. He was placed on unsupervised probation and assessed $166.80 in court costs.

Steven K. Bennett, 35, of Marlinton, pleaded no contest February 13 to charges of battery and destruction of property. He was assessed a $200 fine, $321.60 in court costs, a $25 arrest fee and sentenced to six days jail with credit for time served.
