No one was seriously injured when a Volvo XC90, operated by Roy F. Gose, of Portland, Maine, ran off Route 219 southbound going down Droop Mountain about 2:45 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

The Pocahontas County Sheriff's Department and Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
