Celebrating ムTraditions in Musicメ at LLHF

Little Levels Heritage Fair Parade Marshals, the Hefner Family, play a tune and wave to the crowd Saturday during the parade through Hillsboro. This yearメs theme, モTraditions in Music,ヤ was the perfect match for the family, whose musical talents span three generations.

When you think about music in the Little Levels, you think of the Hefners ヨ a family whose talents have fostered traditional music for three generations.

With a theme of モTraditions in Music,ヤ?it was natural to select the Hefner family as the parade marshals.

Among the display of Hefner family photos in the McNeel Gym, artisans showed their jewelry, wood crafts, quilts and locally-grown foods.

Outside, more crafts and music flowed into the yard of Hillsboro Elementary School. As Juanita Fireball and the Continental Drifters, the Spring Hollow Cloggers and the Viney Mountain Boys performed, children made soup can instruments with Parks and Recreation Director Lauren Bennett.
