Why did you join the Honor Corps?

I thought it was a nice thing to do, to pay respect to our fallen soldiers and veterans.

Why did you join the Army?

There was not much work around here, and I couldnﾒt sit still. I volunteered to go back to Vietnam.

What were your duties?

I was in the infantry. In Vietnam, there wasnﾒt a front line. You never knew who your enemy was.

What advice do you have for new recruits?

I think it would be a good career if you follow the rules. Itﾒs good pay, and you can retire after 20 years of service.
