Special viewing and reception at Smithsonian exhibit

Mark Payne, program officer with the West Virginia Humanities Council, speaks during a special showing and reception at the Smithsonian "The Way We Worked" exhibit in Marlinton's municipal building. Payne said West Virginia was one of five states to debut the exhibit and Marlinton was the first location in West Virginia to host the event. Payne thanked local supporters of the project, which include Pocahontas County Free Libraries, the Pocahontas County Historical Society, the Dramas, Fairs and Festivals committee, the Convention and Visitors Bureau and GoMarlinton.
