Warriors cut down Lumberjacks 41 to 18

The Pocahontas County High School Warriors went past the Richwood Lumberjacks like a buzzsaw on Friday night at Warrior field.

Putting on a show for the homecoming crowd, Warriors Jessee Taylor, Hunter Grimes and Spencer McCoy each scored a touchdown and Kyler Doss added three to give the fans a night to remember.

Another event that will long be remembered was the halftime crowning of the PCHS 2011 Homecoming King and Queen.

King Curtis Pyles was decked out in jacket and tieᅠwhile his Queen, Sara Jonese, was attired in her Warrior foorball uniform.

Jonese plays safety for the Warriors.

At the half the score was PCHS 34, Lumberjacks 6.

The Junior Varisty saw play in the fourth quarter and allowed the Lumberjacks a late game touchdown.
