Burlin Bedford Alderman, 41, of Marlinton, appeared in court September 10 on a charge of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person. Bond was set at $500.

Norman Alderman, 61, of Marlinton, was arrested September 5 on a charge of speeding. Bond was set at $500.

Lionel A. Garner, 31, of Fairlea, was arrested September 8 on a charge of destruction of property. Bond was set at $1,000.

Christopher O. Gumm, 33, of Marlinton, appeared in court September 7 on charges of driving under the influence and no operator’s. Bond was set at $1,500.

Scott F. Meurer, 38, of Aurora, Ohio, pleaded no contest August 13 to a charge of non-resident fishing without a license. He was assessed a $10 fine and $160.80 in court costs.

Dereth Jacqueline Neudecker, 31, of Sissonville, pleaded no contest August 28 to a charge of no license. She was assessed a $20 fine and $160.80 in court costs.

Larry Brian Talkington, 49, of White Sulphur Springs, pleaded guilty August 20 to charges of registration violation and no proof of insurance. He was assessed a $210 fine and $301.60 in court costs.
