According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Mary May, 18, of Marlinton, was arrested October 5 on a charge of battery. Bond was set at $1,000.

In Magistrate Kathy Beverage’s court:

Kirk Jason Holzner, 37, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, pleaded no contest to a charge of speeding. The offense was reduced to 33 miles per hour in a 25 speed limit. He was assessed an $8 fine, $160.80 in court costs and $5 in additional fees.
