According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

David William Mace, 26, of Marlinton, was arrested November 9 on charges of driving under the influence and reckless driving. Bond was set at $1,500.

Jeremiah Bleu Powell, 30, of Marlinton, was arrested November 13 on charges of public intoxication and battery. Bond was set at $1,000.

Angela Gayle Turner, 38, of Marlinton, was arrested November 12 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $2,500.

Shannon Dawn Davis Turner, 32, of Staunton, Virginia, was arrested November 12 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $2,500.

Ricky L. Schoolcraft, 29, of Marlinton, was arrested November 17 on a charge of driving suspended/revoked for DUI. Bond was set at $1,000.

In Magistrate Janet Kershner-Vanover’s court:

A charge of truancy against Justin Cain, 18, of Marlinton, was dismissed November 15.

James L. Robinson, Jr., 63, of Clarksburg, pleaded no contest November 13 to charges of baiting a bear and conspiracy. He was assessed a $40 fine and $321.60 in court costs.
