Magistrate Court

According to Magistrate Court records, the following individuals were either arrested or had activity in their cases.

Jeffery D. Young, 30, of Beverly, was arrested January 13 by Trooper J.W. Gilkeson on a charge of battery. Bond was set at $1,000.

Pamela Lea Hatfield, 39, of Marlinton, was arrested January 11 by Trooper R.A. Waid on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $500. Magistrate Carrie Wilfong was assigned the case.

Kaitlyn Warf, 18, of Marlinton, was arrested January 11 on a charge of truancy. Bond was set at $5,000. Magistrate Wilfong was assigned the case.

Devin C. Bussard, 35, of Gauley Bridge, was arrested January 14 by Trooper Gilkeson on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $500. Magistrate Wilfong was assigned the case.

Scott E. Triplett, age unavailable, of Hillsboro, was arrested January 15 by Trooper G.E. Galloway on a charge of harassing communications. Bond was set at $1,000. Magistrate Wilfong was assigned the case.

Carol Calhoun Withers, 53, of Elliston, Virginia, was arrested January 12 on a charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $500. Magistrate Cynthia Broce Kelley was assigned the case.

Lee Jay Hiner, 35, of Marlinton, was arrested January 17 by Trooper Gilkeson on a charge of false pretenses. Bond was set at $1,000.

Richard Wells Brakeville, 57, of Marlinton, was arrested January 17 by Trooper Gilkeson on a charge of false pretenses. Bond was set at $1,000.

Harry Ronaldson Miller, 47, of Marlinton, was arrested January 19 by Deputy B.A. Shinaberry on charges of driving suspended/revoked for DUI-second offense, no proof of insurance and registration violation. Bond was set at $3,700.

James Andrew Richard, age unavailable, of Marlinton, was arrested January 20 by Sergeant F.H. Barlow on charges of battery, obstructing an officer and public intoxication. Bond was set at $2,100.

Mario Sevilla, 30, of Bartow, was arrested January 20 by Trooper B.E. Nelson on a charge of obstructing an officer. Bond was set at $1,000.

Timothy Dean, 21, of Buckeye, was arrested January 17 by Deputy Shinaberry on a charge of cruelty to animals. Bond was set at $2,500.

Clifton R. Summerfield, Jr., 30, of Mill Creek, pleaded no contest January 15 to two counts of failure to register as a sex offender. He was assessed a $500 fine and $331.60 in court costs. Trooper Gilkeson was the arresting officer.
