Two Durbin Town Council members, Emma Grace Nottingham and Don Jennings, along with mayor Donald Peck were in attendance at the meeting Monday night. Due to the lack of a quorum, an issue the council has dealt with for several months, the meeting was rescheduled for Monday, October 11.

Items on the agenda included, discuss and/or act upon resignation of recorder Paul Ransom, resignation of councilmember Gloria Ransom, Halloween night, a donation, the FEMA floodplain ordinance amendments, Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant, streets and alleys, billing issues and items under the back porch at Town Hall.
