The town of Durbin will have a municipal election in June with a short list of candidates running for mayor, council and recorder.

Current mayor Donald Peck is the only candidate for the office of mayor. For council, current councilmembers Earl Vance, Mike Vance, John Osborne and Bob Gray are joined by Crystal Vance. No one has filed for the recorder position.

Early voting will be held at the town office June 4 and 11 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The general election will be June 14, 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
