The Pocahontas County Scottish Rite Club installed a flagpole and donated a U.S. flag at the Marlinton / Edray Senior Citizens Center and conducted a dedication ceremony at the center on May 21. The Greenbrier East High School Junior ROTC program, from Lewisburg, provided a color guard for the event. Roger Cain of the senior center donated a West Virginia state flag. Marlinton Mayor Dennis Driscoll, Dottie Kellison and Scottish Rite members Merle Kerr, Jim VanReenan and Sam Felton made remarks during the event.
