Three American Red Cross workers had the opportunity to try out the Parks and Recreation Division (PRD) mini-gym on Friday. The mini-gym is located in the Artisan's Guild room in the Board of Education building in Marlinton.

High winds blew down a power line and caused a brush fire Monday afternoon on the hillside above Route 39 west of the intersection with Brown's Mountain Road. Marlinton Fire and Rescue and Allegheny Power crews responded to the scene.
