Joseph Sidney Parsons, Jr., age 86, of Marlinton, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at his home.

Funeral service was March 11 at VanReenen Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Gamble officiating. Interment with Military Rites by the Pocahontas County Veterans Honor Corps was in Mountain View Cemetery.
