Roger Watson, 62, of Marlinton, appeared in court June 18 on a charge of domestic battery. Bond was set at $3,000.

One Hillsboro man and two Marlinton men have been arrested by Sheriffﾒs Deputy D.M. Brock for sexual assault in the third degree, according to the criminal complaints filed in the Pocahontas County Magistrate Court.

Law gave a short speech about his seven years in the Pocahontas County school system.
