Pocahontas County Soccer League is gearing up for its fall season. Players may begin registering after Monday, August 9, by contacting Pocahontas County Parks and Recreation at 304-799-7386. On-site registration will occur at the following times and locations: Wednesday, August 18, from 4:30 -6 p.m. at the Hillsboro Library; and Thursday, August 26, from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Green Bank School; 4-6 p.m. at the Parks and Recreation office in Marlinton; and 5:30 -7 p.m. at the Hillsboro Library. Registration fee is $35, with discounts given for multiple family members. Deadline for registration is Friday, September 3. After that date, registration fee is $45.
