The Warrior Golf Team placed sixth in the state, ahead of South Harrison and Richwood. Cody Hill shot an 87 the first day and 90 the second day of the tournament.

The event, held at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling each year, was the cap to a good season for the golf team.

The Warriors won the Potomac Valley Conference match at the Raven, Snowshoe, by more than 40 strokes as a team. Hill was the low medalist,and was named to the All-Conference Team along with Garrett Clark, Curtis Pyles and Andrew Morrison.

Hill mirrored that accomplishment at the Coalfield Classic held at the Greenbrier Elks Club in Lewisburg, where the Warriors won by 30 strokes. Hill and Clark were named to the All-Conference Team.

The Warriors captured first place in Region II by more than 30 strokes, with Hill, again, winning the low medalist spot.
