Boys Basketball

The boys had their first game this past week at Bath Co. Virginia with an unfortunate but close loss to the Chargers with a final score of 59-57, and the JV squad suffered the same fate with a loss of 54-56. They then hosted the East Hardy Cougars for their home openerﾠ December 16 and had an excellent night with the Varsity winning 59-49, and the JV winning with a final score of 56-35.
They will next travel to Pendleton County on December 19.

Girls Basketball

The ladies have had a rough start this past week with three losses, the first to Woodrow Wilson on the 13th with a final score of 56-49, the second to Summers County on the 14th with a final score of 64-38, and the last was on the 16th with a 59-46 loss to Pikeview.

But they have shown that they still have a fighting spirit in their last match on the 18th when they traveled to Tucker County and had a Varsity victory of 54-51, and a JV win of 58-51.
