The Warriors plowed through the Bulldogs Friday night in Mill Creek, 54-6. The Warriors performed phenomenally both offensively and defensively, moving the football throughout the evening. The Warriors season record stands at 5-3 with a game scheduled against Man next week.

The #15 ranked PCHS Girls Soccer Team will open combined Class A/AA sectional play in Region 3 Section 1 on Monday, October 17, at #11 ranked Midland Trail in Hico, Fayette County, for the second straight year.

The Warrior Golf Team placed sixth in the state, ahead of South Harrison and Richwood. Cody Hill shot an 87 the first day and 90 the second day of the tournament. The event, held at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling each year, was the cap to a good season for the golf team.

The PCHS Girls Soccer Team (1-3-1) ranked #19 in the first 2011 rankings for the week ending September 3. Their 2010 initial ranking was #6. Ten Class AA and AAA top-20 teams are on the Lady Warriors schedule this year including all of the top seven squads in A/AA.

The Pocahontas County High School golf team won first place at Regionals September 26 at the Lewisburg Elks Club. Cody Hill was once again low medalist with a score of 78. Teammate Andrew Morrison was second in the tournament with a score of 86.
